Minnesota Orchestra - Season Opening Celebration: Sondergard, Lim and Rachmaninoff

Orchestra director and conductor Thomas Sondergard will be opening the Minnesota Orchestra's new season this fall with an ambitious performance of Rachmaninoff's emotional Piano Concerto No. 2. Taking the lead on the piano is twenty-year-old virtuoso, Yunchan Lim, whose performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto no. 3 took the world by storm, garnering over fifteen million views on YouTube. In addition, the orchestra will perform Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture, Tarrodi's Liguria, and Respighi's The Pines of Rome. Don't miss out on seeing the masters at work!
